This has a beautifully aromatic nose of dried oranges, rose hips, redcurrants, slate, chocolate and cinnamon. Fresh and tight, with precise tannins and a medium body. Very fine.

Slate and soil meet with dark red cherry and minty chaparral on the nose of this appellation blend. Baking spice and oak-toast flavors greet the palate, which is grippy in texture around the dark cherry fruit flavors.
Smells of cherries, green herbs and dried flowers. Fine-grained, muscular tannins wrap around a core of cherry, raspberry and dried, aromatic herbs. Excellent acidity gives the wine a brisk freshness, even as the herbal qualities add a mintiness to the finish, demonstrating the substantial portion of whole-cluster fermentation.
