RATINGS

94Vinous / IWC

...brings together tremendous textural richness with striking layers of floral brightness and minerality that add complexity. Powerful and yet wonderfully finessed...possesses superb energy and vibrancy, with pedigree to burn.

94James Suckling

Very attractive aromas of ripe white and yellow peaches here with a gently glossy edge and lightly toasty and flinty nuances. The palate has such richness and composure with a fleshy, smooth build to the long, lemon and peach-soaked finish. Bracing.

93Decanter Magazine (points)

...combines crisp acidity with floral notes and an attractive stoned fruit flavour profile. Softer...displays peach and crisp apple fruit notes allied with roundness and warmth on the palate....good concentration...

92The Wine Advocate

...bursts from the glass with a pretty, aromatic bouquet of citrus blossom, white peach and spring flowers...medium to full-bodied, ample and expressive, with an open-knit, satiny-textured core, tangy acids and a precise, mouthwatering finish.

92Burghound.com

An elegant and attractively floral suffused nose flashes good Chablis typicity with its notes of petrol, pear and ocean breeze. There is fine vibrancy to the sleek and refined medium weight flavors that offer both good minerality and salinity on the lingering, balanced, clean and appealingly dry finish...really quite lovely...

90Wine Spectator

Round, with peach, apple and lemon flavors. Vibrant acidity keeps this focused and drives the lingering finish.

16Jancis Robinson

Grassy character on the nose, then lots of cream and dairy character on the nose. Simple fruit, moderate concentration.

PRODUCER

William Fevre

Domaine William Fevre is a 120-acre domaine in Chablis, Burgundy. The Fevre family has been in Chablis for more than two centuries and for much of the 20th century their Chablis wines have been highly sought after. In 1998 when William Fevre retired the domaine was sold to Henriot Champagne, already the proprietors of Bouchard Pere et Fils. Burgundy writer Clive Coates notes that when it was sold “it was first class operation then; it is even better now….This is a classy setup, producing very classy wines.” There is also a William Fevre negociant.
