Intense, focused and dry but rich aromas of dark fruit, roasted wood, crushed rocks and wild herb enliven the nose, while the palate is weighty yet expertly tense. Flavors of dried red fruit, peppery spice and milk chocolate float into the finish.
The black berry character dominates here but there is plenty of crushed stones as well as orange peel. It’s full-bodied yet so refined and gorgeous. Subtle and complex flavors of fruit and dark earth. Creamy textured tannins.
