...has an intense, quite compelling mineral-driven bouquet with shimmering red fruit bursting from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine density, quite a good grip with a lightly spiced, persistent finish.
...lovely, revealing aromas of plums, rose petals, sweet spices, licorice and loamy soil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, velvety and concentrated palate framed by lively acids and refined tannins, concluding with a saline finish.
More poise and restraint and deliciously savoury. There is a depth of fruit, but no excess sweetness. Blood orange again. Evident but discreet firmness in the tannins behind. Very fine indeed.
