Sappy and penetrating on the palate, offering sharply detailed black and blue fruit, candied violet and exotic spice flavors that turn deeper as the wine stretches out. Finishes extremely long and spicy, with intense mineral thrust, repeating floral and cherry notes and youthful, firming tannins.
It has pure aromas of blueberries, blackcurrant, violet and dark earth with nuances of fresh mint leaves, salami, licorice, garrigue and cracked pepper. Full-bodied yet light on its feet, the palate features restrained, graphite-laced fruit at this early stage. It has loads of powerful, rounded tannins and seamless freshness and is still coiled on the finish.
