It’s silky and pliant in feel, lifted by brisk acids as ripe wild berries and savory spices saturate, leaving a coating of fine tannins in their wake. While structured and persistent, this finishes quite fresh, tapering off to notes of tobacco and licorice.
Lots of dried fruit with walnuts and spices. Some dark chocolate. It’s full and layered. A little old-school, but delicious in it’s concentrated, old style.
