Estimate
Looking very composed, tidy and tightly packed. Raspberry, cassis and blueberry, plus a leafy edge with graphite. The palate's faultless, and tannins are a feature. Really terrific length and depth with lots of potential.
...cedary and complex upon opening, easily mixing cassis, plum and blackberry with vanilla and baking spices. On the palate, it's dense and concentrated...long, mocha-tinged finish wraps things up, combining dusty tannins with mouthwatering acids.
...pure black fruits aromas with a pronounced black plum and black currant nose with underlying pepper, Provence herbs and licorice suggestions. Big, dense and profoundly expressive in the mouth, the palate is firmly constructed with chewy tannins and great persistence.
Expansive cherry and cassis aromas are complemented by suggestions of licorice, mocha and cracked pepper...concentrated dark fruit and spicecake flavors and a touch of vanilla. Closes on a sweet blueberry note, showing very strong persistence and just a hint of dusty tannins.
Lightly minty and spiced but the dominant aroma is peppery dark fruit with an attractive dusty quality. Dark and a little charry on the palate, some cassis but the Cabernet does not overwhelm the Shiraz, surprisingly. Finest of dry tannins are what give this wine its fresh finish.
