...darker and earthier, with plenty of plum and currant fruits supported by classic tobacco, chocolate, and lead pencil notes. Incredibly classic Cabernet on the nose, it's medium to full-bodied, has beautiful depth of fruit, ripe tannins, and chalky, mineral-style on the palate.
Gently herbal, with shadings of thyme and sage laid atop black cherries and cassis... Medium to full-bodied, it's creamy-supple, tannic but ripe and long on the finish.
A solid, nicely grippy style, with a youthful core of black currant and blackberry reduction notes underscored by warm earth, tobacco and roasted apple wood. Reveals a good cast iron accent that helps drive the finish and gives this a slightly old-school feel.
Leafy character to the cherries and currants, together with cloves, licorice and some olives. It’s full-bodied with chewy yet polished tannins and a tannic, flavorful finish with slight bitterness.
