...pure red berries, orange pith and pressed flower notes...palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, certainly one of the spicier, perhaps East Asian-tinged Les Cazetiers with just a touch of dryness on the finish.
Revealing scents of raspberries, wild berries, orange rind and rich soil tones, framed by a touch of cedary new oak, the wine is medium to full-bodied, pure and concentrated, with a lavish core of fruit, ripe tannins and a long and lively finish.
Dark and restrained yet full of fruit. Much darker fruit on the palate, too, totally Gevrey in its more upright tannins and darker fruit. The finish is dry, fine-boned and long. On the finish, intense sour-cherry freshness.
