Estimate
Medium ruby-purple, the 2017 Pinot Noir Worden Hill—Red Dust has a lovely, layered nose of cranberry sauce, crushed raspberries, baked rhubarb, blackberries and tar with accents of burnt orange, dried leaves, warm earth and licorice. The palate is medium-bodied, silky, intense and layered with fine, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing very long.
Appealing savory and stony mineral aromas combine with slightly brooding black cherry and blueberry flavors that take on richness and quiet power toward refined tannins.
