Pointed and intriguing, with dried cherries and plums on the finish, this is elegant in the mid-palate and reasonably concentrated with grip on the finish. As it airs, it show maturity on its fruit, more complex flavors, perhaps a bit of plum and strawberry compote.
Tangy balsam note. Earthy undertones... Far from sweet and plush but utterly correct.
