Lively mid ruby with a pale rosy rim... Firm. Very neat & lifted on the palate with that great roundness of 1966 & just a hint of tannic structure. Hint of woodsmoke... Spirit well incorporated. Still lots of life ahead of it. Very gentle.

It is powerful, rich and fruity on the palate -- almost raw. Medium ruby, with coffee and plum aromas, full-bodied, with sweet tea, coffee and plum flavors and medium tannins.
Still very deep. with good 'legs'; good, figgy nose; very sweet, good flesh. An excellent Noval combining the sweetness of Graham and backbone of Taylor...
