Warm ganache, plum sauce and blackberry compote notes meld together in this large-scaled version, with accents of loam, black licorice and tobacco filling in on the finish. Shows ample grip, revealing a nice tug of dark earth.
Oily and spicy on the nose with brambly black fruits and a hint of cherry cola from toasty new oak...palate is chalky and dense, thickly tannic and broad in fruit.
