Blackcurrants, lead pencil shavings, chocolate, tobacco leaf, and ample earthy minerality all give way to a powerful, full-bodied 2016 that has plenty of density, ripe tannins, and a big finish.
...notes of kirsch, Black Forest cake and warm cassis leap from the glass, followed by nuances of lavender, wild thyme and fertile loam. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has firm, grainy tannins and bags of freshness to support the rich, black fruits, accented by beautiful savory sparks, finishing long and mineral tinged.

Very plush blueberries on offer here. This has a smoothly cast palate with fine, ripe and even-paced tannins. Good persistence and depth.
