Estimate
Wafting from the glass with an incipiently complex bouquet of raspberries, Asian spices, orange rind, black tea and incense, the wine is medium to full-bodied, supple and enveloping, with velvety tannins, terrific concentration and a long, precise finish.
...expressive and very floral on the nose, certainly more complex than the Vosne-Village at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, and quite firm and robust...
...a dark aromatic profile that gives way to supple, round and easy-going flavors that possess very good mid-palate density, all wrapped in a dusty, firm and youthfully austere finish...
Both ripe and darkly savoury at the same time. Perhaps a little charry. Lots of obvious oak on the palate though there’s good depth of fruit at the core.
