RATINGS

92Burghound.com

...ripe compote-like aromas of peach, floral, apricot and nectarine. There is excellent size, weight and volume to the concentrated and powerful medium weight plus flavors that possess good acid support on the mouth coating finish.

90+ The Wine Advocate

...hints of peppermint emerging, verging on eucalyptus with time. The palate is well balanced with tangerine and marmalade notes on the entry. The acidity here is nicely judged.

90-92Stephen Tanzer

Very pure, high-pitched aromas of pear, white peach and flowers. Juicy, spicy... The flavors of apple, pear, spices and honey spread out and mount on the long finish.

16.5Jancis Robinson

Woody, cedary nose, plus light oak spice. Salty on the palate, sinewy freshness and just a touch smoky on the finish.

PRODUCER

Antoine Jobard

Domaine Antoine Jobard is a 15-acre estate in Meursault, Burgundy. Burgundy expert Clive Coates has called it “one of the great Meursault estates.” And Robert M. Parker Jr. notes that the estate “has long been known for crafting clear, complex, age-worthy Meursault.” Francois Jobard still works in the operation but the name on the bottles now is that of his son, Antoine. Known for their Meursault, they also have parcels in Puligny-Montrachet. About 3,000 cases are produced annually.
