ENTER.Sake is a boutique sake collection curated by music icon and technology visionary, Richie Hawtin. Richie has been a devoted sake connoisseur for over twenty years since he first traveled to Japan in 1994. He has earned the Advanced Sake Professional Certification and was made an official Sake Samurai by the Japanese Sake Brewers Association in 2014 for his efforts in promoting sake abroad. For the past six years he has collaborated with the top echelon of family-owned sake breweries (some over 200 years old, and tightly allocated and highly sought-after within Japan) to create sake that is intended to be enjoyed with Western food. ENTER.Sake is that rare brand that boasts both placements at Michelin three-star restaurants (Saison, Single Thread, and Quince, among others) and at high-profile festivals like Coachella.

This is a pure rice (non-additive) sake. The junmai classification means that the rice used has been polished to at least 70 percent. While it’s hard to over-generalize, junmai sake tends to have a rich full body with an intense, slightly acidic flavor. This type of sake can be particularly nice when served warm or at room temperature.
