Plums, cedar and hints of toffee on the nose. Medium body, fine tannins and a fresh finish. Orange peel aftertaste to the fruit.

Aromas of forest floor, red berry and Alpine herb lead the way on this 100% Nebbiolo. The elegantly structured palate offers red cherry, crushed strawberry and star anise alongside fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity.

This red grape is most often associated with Piedmont, where it becomes DOCG Barolo and Barbaresco, among others. Its name comes from Italian for “fog,” which descends over the region at harvest. The fruit also gains a foggy white veil when mature.
