Graphite and underbrush undertones lend depth to the black currant and blackberry notes of this burly, savory-driven red, with muscular tannins imparting structure to the finish, which is marked by tea, spice and licorice details.
Pure dark fruit on the nose. Rich and chewy and generous on the palate. Obviously oaky but better balanced than most, just a bit of heat on the finish. Juicy, chewy and full-bodied but not heavy.
