RATINGS

91Wine Spectator

Round and creamy, sporting peach, apple and floral notes. Lively acidity keeps this fresh and drives the lingering finish. Ends with mouthwatering lemon and spice accents.

16.5+ Jancis Robinson

Complex nose of spice, oak, orange and apple fruit. Mouth-watering and chewy on the palate. Super chalky texture and some saline notes on the finish.

It is nearly in the center of the Premier Crus and is the largest Premier Cru in Puligny-Montrachet. This white variety originated in Burgundy, but is now grown around the world. Its flexibility to thrive in many regions translates to wide flavor profile in the market. Chardonnay is commonly used in making Champagne and sparkling wines.
