On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with a fine girdle of acidity, ripe, buried tannins and excellent length and grip on the primary, pure and gently chewy finish.
...very detailed and open, brambly red berry fruit mixed with dried rose petal and pastille-like scents. The palate is well balanced, showing a touch of more fruit than the Fleurie, with satisfying weight and precision on the finish, hints of white pepper sprinkled over the aftertaste.
