Ripe and full-bodied, this immense wine has rich layers of tropical fruits. The wine, like so often in Corton-Charlemagne, is a powerful, huge expression of Chardonnay. It does have balance from acidity.
A powerhouse, boasting peach, apple and lemon flavors, accented by baking spice details. Rich and well-defined by vibrant acidity, revealing a long aftertaste of ripe fruit, mineral and spice notes.
...ripe and generous bouquet that is well defined with fine minerality...orange rind and earthy scents, just a touch of pyrazine in the background. The palate is well balanced and here it seems full ripe. Good depth, quite gras, very Corton-Charlemagne with a cohesive and harmonious finish that just glides across the mouth.
Rich and round and dense and sweet. Kick of green fruits on the finish.
