There's a raisined quality to this beefy red, but it remains within bounds. Black cherry, plum and spice flavors are focused and there's a freshness along with dense, grainy tannins. A powerhouse, with length and a sweet fruit aftertaste.
Pure, vibrant aromas of red fruits, minerals and spices; cool and aristocratic in the context of the vintage. Then more complex but less fruity in the mouth than the Bressandes, hinting at game, smoke, leather and spices.
