RATINGS

90Robert M. Parker Jr.

...is ambitious and concentrated. Along with the additional level of extract comes elevated tannin and copious toasty new oak. Although forceful, rich, and concentrated, it is lavishly wooded and extremely tannic.

90Wine Spectator

Tight and a touch earthy at first, but it opens to reveal chunky ripe plum, cherry, mushroom and cedar notes. Turns firm, with anise and tar.

TYPE

Red Wine, Pinot Noir

This red wine is relatively light and can pair with a wide variety of foods. The grape prefers cooler climates and the wine is most often associated with Burgundy, Champagne and the U.S. west coast. Regional differences make it nearly as fickle as it is flexible.
