A well defined bouquet with flint and light smoky scents with just a hint of quince coming through with aeration. The palate is nicely poised with good weight on the entry, a touch of light honey and mandarin,
Pale, bright yellow. Refined aromas of white peach, spices and minerals. Classier and higher in acidity than the Meursault, with apple and stone fruit flavors carrying well on the back end.
There is excellent energy to the medium weight flavors that possess a seductive mouth feel, all wrapped in a moderately firm, balanced and solidly persistent finish.
This one starts to be a bit more ethereal, with some really exciting combination of high notes and depth of fruit too. Lots of acidity but sufficient body too. Greengages perhaps.
