..a huge nose with aromas reminiscent of leg of lamb cooked over a wood fire and doused with Provencal herbs... gorgeous, big, meaty, herbaceous, sweet, black fruit aromas and flavors..

Complex bouquet of earth, currant, mushroom and mineral, with rich, concentrated flavors to match. Holds its focus nicely, turning elegant and revealing plush currant and berry flavors, with a touch of clay.

Laurel Glen

Laurel Glen Vineyard is in Glen Ellen, in the Sonoma appellation. It was a vineyard in the late 19th century when German immigrants began growing grapes, but it was replanted exclusively to Cabernet Sauvignon in 1968. In 1977 Patrick Campbell purchased the property. Today the winemaker is Randall Watkins and the estate makes Cabernet Sauvignon and Rose.
