Tangy and focused in the mouth, offering spicy berry and bitter cherry flavors and a touch of orange pith. Expands and deepens on the finish, which features silky tannins and a suave floral pastille quality.
...very pretty on the nose...wafting from the glass in a mix of red and black cherries, pomegranate, sweet stem tones, lovely soil elements, fresh herbs, coffee and a touch of autumnal acorn notes starting to emerge in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, complex and beautifully transparent, with fine focus and grip, nice tangy acids and just a bit of pepperiness perking up the long and classy finish.
