It has a very intense bouquet, almost over-powering at first, with bright blackberry, fig jam, fresh dates and allspice aromas soaring from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins. This is a thickly textured Cabernet, almost honeyed, with powerful fruit on the peacock's tail finish.
