Intensely perfumed black and blue fruits, vanilla and a suave floral nuance on the spice-accented nose. Smooth and appealingly sweet on entry...concentrated cherry cola, black currant and exotic spice flavors and a hint of dark chocolate. Dusty tannins add shape to a very long, dark-fruit-dominated finish that strongly echoes the floral note.
The wine is full-bodied, round and lush, and even if very tannic, it comes through as less tannic than other wines from 2018. It finishes with abundant, chalky tannins.
Sweet and very creamy tannin. It is a wine with a great concentration of smashed ripe black fruit. It feels like a coffee-cream liqueur on the palate because of its huge, sweet tannin content. Dense and impressive, with Mediterranean warmth and extraordinary fruit concentration.
