RATINGS

95John Gilman

...very elegant and refined...plenty of intensity of flavor...impeccably balanced, as it offers up notes of pear, apple, a bit of fresh corn, bee pollen, simply striking minerality, a touch of vanillin oak and flowers...full-bodied, racy and soil-driven, with great mid-palate intensity, and a long, snappy finish.

...nose offers sea spray, walnut and egg shell aromas that are nicely defined and carry a subtle reduction...palate is tangy on the entry...with impressive weight, hints of custard creams towards the quasi-Rhône-like finish...just damn delicious.

17.5Jancis Robinson

Sleek...savoury, dense, but not dramatic.
