RATINGS

93The Wine Advocate

...unfurling in the glass with a rich and complex bouquet of candied peel, berries and dried fruits that mingle with nuances of musk and exotic spices...medium to full-bodied, ample and lavishly textured, with tangy underlying acids and an open-knit, fully mature palate, with just a hint of fraying on the long finish.

TYPE

Red Wine, Pinot Noir, Grand Cru

This red wine is relatively light and can pair with a wide variety of foods. The grape prefers cooler climates and the wine is most often associated with Burgundy, Champagne and the U.S. west coast. Regional differences make it nearly as fickle as it is flexible.
