...aromas of blackberries, orange rind, peonies, potpourri and spices. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, rich and layered, with a fleshy core of fruit, refined tannins and an appealing sense of completeness.
...sweet, candied nose, very floral but lacking a little delineation, monotone and a little chocolaty....palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit and slightly chalky in texture. Spicy, like Grivot's Beauxmonts, but without the same breeding toward the drier finish.
