RATINGS

92-95Stephen Tanzer

Crunchy raw berries, flowers, dark chocolate and tangy oak spices on the urgent nose. Big, sappy and complete; wonderfully sweet dark berry, floral and mineral flavors.

...blackberry, spice, and oak-scented nose. Medium-bodied and expansive, it displays black cherries, candied raspberries, and blackberries in its velvet texture. It has outstanding depth and concentration as well as a long, pure finish.

TYPE

Red Wine, Pinot Noir, Grand Cru

This red wine is relatively light and can pair with a wide variety of foods. The grape prefers cooler climates and the wine is most often associated with Burgundy, Champagne and the U.S. west coast. Regional differences make it nearly as fickle as it is flexible.
