RATINGS

94Wine Spectator

A bold white, showing power, along with lemon, hazelnut, vanilla and mineral notes. It’s backed by a vibrant structure.

93-96Stephen Tanzer

Subtly complex aromas of nut oil, nutmeg, menthol and charred oak. A huge, fat, sweet wine with outstanding palate-staining concentration. Expressive, soil-inflected, highly nuanced flavors of minerals, nut oils, spring flowers and spices.

...a wonderful sense of purity and finishing linearity plus there is more minerality than one usually sees in the typical Bâtard.
