93James Suckling

...sleek body, delicate peachy fruit and very fresh acidity. The mineral finish is long and filigree.

92The Wine Advocate

...offers a coolish, flinty and very precise bouquet with yellow paprika and crushed stone aromas. On the palate, this is a gorgeously lush, round and elegant Riesling with generous fruit and aromatic intensity.

92Vinous / IWC

Bosc pear, lime, struck flint and wet stone on the nose anticipate the brightly juicy, snappy, strongly stone-inflected impression on a polished, buoyant palate...finishes with an impressive sense of energy and a striking, undulating interplay of fruit and mineral elements.

90Wine Spectator

Expressive and elegant, with a vibrant structure, exhibiting notes of grapefruit, quince and tarragon. Offers a focused, mineral-infused finish.

17Jancis Robinson

Distinctively fragrant, with a touch of blossom. Just smells of spring. And tastes of spring too. Sprightly, elegant, delicate and still beautifully persistent. Lingering.

H. Donnhoff

H. Donnhoff is a 32-acre estate in Oberhausen/Nahe, in southwestern Germany. The appellation is the very small Nahe appellation, and Helmut Donnhoff has been making noteworthy wines on his steep hillside vineyards there for more than 30 years. The estate itself has been in his family since 1750. Vineyards are planted to 75% Riesling, 25% Weissburgunder and Granburgunder. About 7,000 bottles are produced annually. Wine writer Hugh Johnson described Helmut Donnhoff as having “a fanatical commitment to quality, and a remarkable natural talent for winemaking.” The estate’s Rieslings are considered among the world’s best.

White Wine, Riesling, Kabinett

This white variety originated in Germany. It’s known for its strong flowery aromas and high acidity. Please note Rieslings can have dramatic differences as the grape can be used to make dry, semi-sweet, sweet and sparkling wines.
