Estimate
..huge, massive, monster of a wine, with extraordinary richness, a viscous texture, and astonishing chewiness in its glycerin-dominated, high alcohol, tannic finish. It needs at least 5-6 years of cellaring and should last for 20-30 years.
A ripe and now mostly secondary nose of earth, spice, leather and hints of animale lead to rich yet elegant flavors underpinned by still noticeable but not hard tannins and a mineral-infused finish that offers admirable length and depth.
A fruit bomb, with a refined structure of cherry and earth flavors and a spicy, smoky, firm, long finish.
