ITEM 8071302 - Removed from a subterranean wine cellar
A beautiful white with sliced-mango, cooked-apple and lemon-curd aromas and flavors. Full-bodied with lots of fruit and intensity. Some tropical fruit at the end. White peaches, too.
...intense bouquet with subtle scents of almond, praline and pressed white flower aromas. The palate is taut and linear on the entry, featuring lovely orange pith and apricot notes and hints of tangerine and white chocolate toward the gorgeous, pure finish. Wonderful.
More evident wood can be found on the moderately exotic aromas of white peach, lychee, jasmine tea and a hint of tangerine peel. Once again there is a really lovely mouthfeel to the delicious and vibrant flavors...
Limpid and pure (meaning no trace of obvious oak) with a hint of liquorice. Excellent balance. It starts with sweet, juicy, quite subtle fruit but has an appetising dry finish with fine chalky tannins way in the background.
