RATINGS

92James Suckling

Blackberries, sweet licorice and strawberries on the nose. Lots of new wood and vanilla. Full and very juicy on the palate with a pretty texture and serious length. Ripe tannins.

92Wine Enthusiast

New wood shows strongly in the aroma, along with espresso coffee. On the palate, the wood gives a smooth, polished feel to the concentrated tannins and intense acidity over the jammy fruits.

REGION

France, Bordeaux, Lussac-St.-Emilion

Lussac-Saint-Émilion is northeast of Saint-Émilion, and it takes its name from the town of Lussac. It is considered a satellite appellation of Saint-Émilion, and it is one of several appellations allowed to attach the prestigious Saint-Émilion name to their own. Like most Right Bank estates, it grows and vinifies primarily Merlot.
