...lush with aromas of pine, gravelly earth, cracked pepper, black cherry liqueur, and anise. Full-bodied, it fills the palate with generous ripe fruit that lifts cleanly off the long finish, with sweet tannins and a supple, spherical mouthfeel.
Vibrant, finely etched red and blue fruit, floral and Asian spice scents pick up hints of cola and woodsmoke as the wine opens up. Mineral-drenched Chambord and mulberry flavors are joined by suggestions of candied lavender and mocha. Shows superb energy and floral lift on the mineral-driven finish, which is framed by discreet, even tannins.
Aromas of chocolate, cedar and spice with dried strawberries. Flowers and cappuccino. Full and tight with fine tannins and a fresh and vivid finish.
Delicate blackberry liqueur and violets with rocky, volcanic scents. Floral and rosy with a gentle sweetness to the plush dark cherry on the nose. Rounder, more viscous and textured than Chehalem Highlands on the palate. Despite the ripeness of the fruit on the nose, the palate is dry and savoury. The texture is like thick, soft cotton at high thread count. Cola notes develop as it opens.
