Estimate
It is well defined with cracked black pepper and touches of brine - the one cru from Mugneret sporting a distinctive marine influence. The palate is medium-bodied with quite thick tannins on the entry. An ambitious, dense Echézeaux with grip and girth toward the finish.
Deep in cherry fruit, richly fruited rather than lightly scented. Spicy and powerful with a hint of oak char. Powerful, dense but with such fresh fruit, the whole-bunch component adding a lift on the finish. Firm, smooth tannins. Gets more and more fragrant in the glass. Spicy, and has the texture and dry finish of dark chocolate.
