On the medium to full-bodied palate, there's an earthy, savory undercurrent, which imparts balance and complexity to the upfront fruit, and the wine finishes pleasantly dry and lingering, with just enough soft tannin to provide needed structure.
Dusty nose with ripe blackberries and plums as well as hints of ground cloves, pepper and crushed stones. Medium- to full-bodied with firm tannins and velvety texture. Rich and dark-fruited with a lingering finish.
