Offering classic red fruits (some cassis as well), toasted bread, white chocolate and background oak, this beauty is medium to full-bodied, elegant and polished on the palate, with ultra-fine tannin.
Lovely, with crushed plum, boysenberry and blackberry fruit inlaid seamlessly with warmed anise, singed mesquite, Lapsang souchong tea and sandalwood notes. The fine-grained finish flows wonderfully.
...nicely detailed bouquet with blackberry, briary and iris aromas, gaining intensity in the glass, a Margaux with commendable presence. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin.
...very comely, feminine and perfumed nose brandishing a whole bunch of rose petals in the glass. The palate is very well balanced, fleshy but still structured with fine grain tannin.
A bit sweet toasty oaky on the nose. Oak is a little dominant on the palate too.
