Savory and floral overtones weave through a core of dark-toned fruit in a Romanée-Conti that impresses with its substance and overall feel.
...aromas of plums and red fruit preserve mingled with exotic spices and creamy new oak. Medium to full-bodied, soft and velvety, with a broad attack that segues into a rich core of exuberant fruit, it's sweet and succulent, concluding with a broad, discreetly heady finish.
Opens to peony and minerally, vibrant but non-sweet fruit. More stemmy/herbal as it opens in the glass. Very dry but totally succulent tannin texture. Perfectly toned to shape the fruit. Immensely fresh.
