Estimate
Beautifully composed and complete, this well-balanced wine matches powerful red and black fruits to firm tannins while backed by good acidity and a full body.
Offers a nice burst of raspberry and boysenberry coulis flavors inlaid with red tea, anise and chaparral, all backed by a nice tug of briar on the finish. Very expressive and open, but no rush either, as this has good underlying structure.
An opulent, energetic and delicious wine with aromas of honeydew melon, Bosc pears, basil and a bit of tangerine zest. The palate is rich but structured, with acidity and a frame of untoasted oak. Flavors of tart pears, citrus and lemon verbena. There is a steely core of acidity supporting this full-bodied, mouth-filling wine.
Blackberry and black cherry on the nose. Rounded, chewy tannin on the palate and ripe fruit with cinnamon and nutmeg spice. Spicy, warming finish.
