Wide and dense...all about pure, perfectly delineated fruit...ripeness level is spot-on... Cola, black raspberry and baking spice give this weight and grounding, leading to a long, cinnamon-dusted finish laced with salty, irony minerality. Super-polished tannins give this some heft...there’s ample freshness and immediacy to balance. I quite like this interpretation of Soberanes—not shy, but not overdone.
...displaying both richness and freshness with ample tannin and structure...dark berry fruit is accented in cardamom, clove, and nutmeg with earthy notes of forest and sage.
Bold blackberry aromas are lifted by baking spice on the nose of this bottling. The palate is ripe as well, with baked berry and plum flavors that are decorated in a minty chocolate dust.
