Lively, with a streak of white pepper offsetting the core of raspberry and boysenberry fruit. The racy-edged finish has an alluring graphite and violet profile. Very solid.
Perfumed nose offers scents of sour cherry, clove, dried herbs, white pepper, flowers, rust and meat...flavors of cherry, cranberry, graphite and wintergreen. Finishes persistent and firm but with very fine-grained tannins.
Wild notes of game and curing spice add depth to the raspberry and cherry fruit core... Creamy and smoothly textured, the clean fruit flavors are lifted by bright acidity and transition seamlessly into spicy notes of white pepper and whole baking spice on the finish.
Very appetising and racy on the nose. Light and savoury. Some leather and even slightly lean. Clean and dry. Very fresh but not mean.
