Already satiny in texture, yet buoyant, this finishes with dark-fruited, forest floor-inflected, palate-staining persistence yet a soothing, enveloping personality that is anything but palate-straining.
...medium full flavors that display a taut muscularity and superb focus on the refined and firmly structured finish...A Musigny of harmony and grace.
Imploded but wonderfully pure aromas of raspberry, blood orange, red licorice, espresso and dried flowers. Dense, sappy and brooding, showing darker flavors and a wilder character than the Amoureuses, as well as a strong torrefaction...
...lovely succulent fruit on the palate. Bitter cherry flavours and crunchy taffeta texture...Not massive but a wonderful texture - this should certainly get there in the end. The fruit positively soars already. Extremely fine tannins.
