Introducing Overtime Bidding Posted: 03/07/2021

BIDDING IS ABOUT TO GET EVEN BETTER

Have you ever lost a bottle in the final moments of our weekly auction, and wish you had the opportunity to continue bidding?

Overtime Bidding Starting March 28th

a rapid-fire extended bidding window for highly-sought after lots

OVERTIME BIDDING 101

  • Lots receiving a bid from 6:57pm – 7:00pm PT on Sundays will be entered into Overtime Bidding.
  • To bid on lots in Overtime Bidding, you must have bid on the lot or have been tracking the lot during the regular weekly auction.
  • Increase your chances of winning a specific lot, by bidding early and entering the max amount you’re willing to pay for the lot
  • When bidding on a lot with multiple bottles, your bid amount applies to all bottles you’ve entered your bid for. Multiple bottles in the same lot cannot be won at different bid increments.

Overtime Bidding Phases

  • Initial Overtime begins at 7:00pm PT …… which consists of a 3-minute bidding window for highly sought after lots. If there are no new bids after three minutes of Initial Overtime, bidding closes at 7:03pm PT and the sale is finalized.
  • Extended Overtime begins at 7:03pm PT …… which consists of 30-second increments that restart every time a new bid is placed. This period ends when no new bid is received after 30 seconds or at 7:10pm PT, whichever is sooner. The winner is determined by highest bid placed at the end of Overtime Bidding and the sale is finalized.

Weekly auctions will start at 7:25pm PT

Pro early access will start at 7:20pm PT
