Tierra Roja is Cabernet Sauvignon from the Tierra Roja Vineyard in Oakville. The vineyard is owned by Lind Neal, who bought the property in 1987, farming it with her husband and selling their grapes to other producers. Starting in the early 2000s, Linda Neal decided to use some grapes to make her own wine. Both the wine and the vineyard are named for the rich, red soils of their corner of Oakville. The winemakers are David and Katharine DeSante.
