Pavillon Blanc du Chateau Margaux is a Sauvignon Blanc made by Chateau Margaux. It has been produced since 1920 and is made from grapes from a 29-acre vineyard planted only to Sauvignon Blanc. It is fermented in oak barrels and bottled after 10 months of aging in cask. Robert M. Parker Jr. has written that Pavillon Blanc du Chateau Margaux “is the Medoc’s finest white wine, crisp, fruity, subtly herbaceous, and oaky.”
